The German Township library branch is open after starting construction April 2008. I checked it out today and it is beautiful. It’s got a great area for the kids to sit and read, and a local artist painted the walls to look like the inside of a tree. It also has a teen area that has computers and laptops they can rent out. In the back it has a fireplace and more relaxed seating. If you want to see it, the dedication is this Sunday, June 6th from 1 to 4 p.m. or here’s a video tour.
