This morning I got the chance to see all the stars who will be participating in the Center for the Homeless fundraiser Dancing With Our Stars. The line up is a great mix of people, including the Center’s very own Jacqueline Kronk, South Bend Mayor Steve Luecke, and eight other great contestants. Tonight they’ll be performing live at the Hilton Garden Inn and you can catch it live at 6:30 p.m. on the Center for the Homeless website, www.cfh.net. You can see the clips we did this morning on our Morning Show page, but when the Mayor didn’t think the cameras were rolling, we got a little more! Take a look
So, I got to thinking. If you could pick any local “celeb” to shake their groove thing, who would it be? I think mine would have to be the gentleman from the Rose City Motors commercial. He seems energetic and ready for the challenge! Let me know what you think and just maybe I’ll send them as suggestions for next years stars!

The Rose City Motors guy is a great suggestion. I. Dough. Not. Care what other people think. There would have to be something contractual that mandated that he say “vehicle” in his unorthodox way 50 or so times though.
We only really have local politicians, local television personalities and a newspaper writer here or there to really call “celebrities” in Michiana… Has Mike Brey done it before? He’s the only person I can really think of. He’d be a good sport, and I can almost guarantee you’d get to see a mock turtleneck.
