Tomorrow the United States Tennis Association is hosting a Tennis block party. They will have the Notre Dame’s men’s tennis coach there to give quick lessons. There will also be t-shirts, prizes, and open courts for people to play. According to the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, tennis is the fastest growing sport in the U.S. More and more families are looking for fun and affordable things to do near home. This summer I’d like to do some segments on sports that are fun for the whole family to try (think outside the box). If you have any ideas, please send them my way. If you’re interested in going to the block party, it’s Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Leeper and it’s free.
