This morning we were at the Elkhart County Fair. We had a blast riding a helicopter, riding the ferris wheel, making ice cream and talking to everyone. But one of the things that stood out the most was hanging out with the sea lions from the Squalus Sea Lion Splash exhibit. The trainer Jessica Zimmer works with four female sea lions, and I was shocked at how active they were. If you caught the show this morning, you saw them giving each other and me kisses! But after we asked Jessica to show us a couple other tricks and some of the things they’re working on. Sparks is working on how to blow raspberries and it’s absolutely adorable. Check out the video below! Remember you can catch them all week at the fair.
