Matt makes Idol History…Tour announced

matt-giraud-0414.jpg

Matt Giraud and Lil Rounds rounded out the bottom two. Everyone knew this was coming, but the biggest question of the night was in the judges hands. Will they use their save card? The answer was yes for one person, probably no for the other. Drum roll…..Matt was voted off. He hit the stage singing his heart out. It wasn’t his best performance, but it was good enough. Simon said “we have some good news” and history was made.

Buzz Kill! Simon said, by the way, two of you will be going home next week! So pretty much, Matt and Lil will most likely be going home next week! Yeah, no pressure for next week or anything!

Side note: Great performance by Jennifer Hudson. It’s inspiring to see someone who didn’t even win idol, to become an idol for so many. Also, Miley or Hannah Montana, did a surprisingly good job. She is the same age as Allison! Crazy! Overall, a very exciting night.

Do you think the judges made the right decision?

Is it just me… or have the last two weeks been a little disappointing? And now they are going to have disco week. Great.

I think Lil should be thanking her lucky stars that she wasn’t eliminated, I don’t think they would have saved her! She better step it up this week!

Good for Matt! I agree with Simon, I don’t think he will win either, but I didn’t want him to go home yet… but at this point, people you like have to get sent home. It is only a matter of time for Matt, Lil and Anoop.

Once those three are gone, things will really heat up!

PS- Colleen, I know you love Adam Lambert, but come on… you can’t tell me you loved “Born to be Wild!” If he put out an album, would you really listen to that song? Although, I admit, I did enjoy watching the performance! (Yes, I think he’s going to win!)

I’m glad they saved Matt. He may not win, but he’s had some very good performances. Lil’s deserved to be in the bottom three for the past couple weeks at least. Anoop’s been in the bottom three twice, once undeservedly (in my opinion) but who cares at this point ?

I agree with Colleen about Adam, the guy is amazing.
